Live at Heart is one of Scandinavia's biggest showcase festivals and industry conferences. Showcasing the stars of tomorrow and bringing creative professionals together to inspire, learn and create. During Live at Heart, hundreds of artists, filmmakers, industry delegates and thousands of Live at Heart fans come together in the heart of Örebro, coming from different backgrounds, cultures and industries. Showcasing 150 bands from across the world, filling out a variety of spaces and music venues, using 15 stages, and hosting a full schedule of Interactive Industry Sessions, Arts events, Creative Events and Film screenings throughout the festival. Live at Heart has several joint ventures with festivals around the world, is a founding member of INES and gives plenty of opportunities to start an international career. Boasting a stage dedicated to Canadian artists, Live at Heart offers a special platform for Canadian artists to get their music known internationally and make cross-border connections.

Declan O'Donovan is a Canadian singer-songwriter from Whitehorse, Yukon known for his distinctive voice and genre-blending style on keyboards and the piano. With records that showcase alternative song-writing sensibilities while exploring folk and psych rock, Declan O'Donovan has drawn comparisons to artists such as Randy Newman, Father John Misty, and Harry Nilsson. O'Donovan has toured across Canada and abroad including performances at the Montreal Jazz Festival, Fuji Rock Festival in Japan, and multiple tours throughout Europe, Asia, and Australia. Declan is preparing to release a new full-length album titled Amok.

Nigel Jenkins is a graduate of the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University, with a Certificate in Entertainment Law from Osgoode Hall Law School. Nigel is an artist manager and record label owner based in Steady Brook, NL. Through his company, Laughing Heart Music, Nigel has worked with artists like Classified, The Lytics, Anthony OKS, Ben Caplan, Hillsburn and many others as a manager, label owner, and music publisher. Nigel is the Chair for the Board of Directors for MusicNL, and sits on the board of directors for the East Coast Music Association. He was nominated for the 2022 East Coast Music Award for Artist Manager of the Year, the 2021 Music NL awards for Industry Professional of the Year and Outstanding Company of the Year, and the 2019 East Coast Music Award for Artist Manager of the Year.

Patrick 'Patch' Twaddle is an entertainment manager, consultant, and post-secondary instructor. His company Ptchworks (Patchwork Services) provides full-service artist and project management, along with coaching and consulting services for artists, trade associations, and organizations working with or in the arts and entertainment sector. He specializes in rights management, emerging tech, branding, cultural exports, and A&R activities, with focus on the Canadian, UK and European markets.
Valerie is very active in the World Music/Roots/Americana/ community as an agent and a manager.. She is passionate about her artists and especially adept at helping her clients with export development and building global careers. Val served for four years on the Board of Directors for Folk Alliance International where she also served a term as President. She teaches and partners with other industry events to lead workshops/panels for the enrichment of the creative/artistic process. She has been a teacher/mentor at SXSW, Mundial Montreal, WOMEX, Folk Music Canada, ECMA's and participated on numerous panels at industry events. She currently is President of Folk Music Canada and a board member of the Live Music Society- which gives over 2 million a year in grants to small venues in the US. She is the Canadian Ambassador for The House of Songs based in Austin, TX. This organization matches songwriters globally for co-writing experiences and has residencies in Austin, Bentonville, AR, New York City, and now opening new “houses” globally around the world. She also manages human rights activist and musician Ramy Essam.
Michael is a Juno Award nominee and music entrepreneur with over 20 years experience. He has toured Canada, the United States, and Europe and worked with international partners on record releases and marketing campaigns around the world. Michael has strong ties to the Canadian music industry and works to support the export and development of Canadian music internationally.
